Mediation is a type of disagreement resolution for disagreements that can be appealed to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.

Appeal to Tribunal

You can appeal to the SEND Tribunal against certain decisions made by the local authority (LA) about a child's or young person's EHC needs assessment or EHC plan.

Judicial review

An individual can seek to challenge the policy, decision, action, or failure to act of a public body. This procedure is called judicial review.
