The purpose of the advisory group is to guide the growth and development of the service we offer. It ensures that Sendias Bathnes delivers a high quality, compliant service that responds to local need and considers best practice and resource allocation .
As a SENDIAS service we are required to work to minimum standards, approved by The Department for Education and the Council for Disabled Children in 2018.
We are also required to have a clear management structure. This must include having a Strategic Manager within the Information Advice and Support Services (IASS) and a steering group advisory body which includes representatives from service user groups and key stakeholders from the education, social care, and health sectors.
